Ariella and Brian

Yes, the much anticipated wedding pictures of Ariella and Brian are finally here!!! What a great day (even though the threat of rain was looming). From the beginning when I showed up and Ariella was getting her makeup done by Christin & Ashley everyone was having a blast. The champagne was flowing and the smiles were plentiful. I jumped right in and started to shoot going back and forth from Ari's room to Brian's room a few doors down. Brian was hanging with his brother slowly getting ready when I popped over for a few shots. They were having a good time cracking each other up. I finished up with Brian and then went back to Ari to finish up. Ari got into her wedding dress and then we were off to Union Station here in downtown Los Angeles where the ceremony and reception were to take place. Union Station is a landmark here in L.A. it has a rich history and is architecturally beautiful (perfect for such a classy couple). The wedding was outdoors at night under the Chuppah. It was a beautiful ceremony (and thankfully the rain didn't start until the very end) which was followed by a night of partying and celebration. Brent Rosen did a fantastic job of deejay for the night and got everybody in the mood for tons of dancing and partying. Everything went great, the entire day went perfectly. Thanks in part to Liz Coopersmith who did a great job planning the day. I had a great time with both of you, you guys have been so easy to work with from beginning to end. Thank you both for everything and here's your day...

Sallee & Andrea's engagement shoot

For Sallee and Andrea's engagement shoot they wanted to have a fairy tale kind of feel to it. They found a beautiful spot up in the mountains that couldn't have been more perfect. It captured their fairy tale theme perfectly. Not only do these pictures capture the theme that they wanted but you really get a feel for the love they have for each other. And the more I have gotten to know them, the more I see how much this is true. The shoot was really a lot of fun (especially because they have a great sense of humor, which I love) we got great pictures and I know the wedding will be tons of fun!!!

Brittany's pregnancy shoot...

Well, it seems like I've known Brittany all my life. Probably because I have. She's sort of a distant niece? I'm not quite sure how to categorize it but you get the idea. Well her and Ryan have been trying like crazy to have a baby and were met with lots of resistance and disappointment. But low and behold mother nature struck and she's due any day now. So we went out a few weeks back and did a little pregnancy shoot to commemorate the occasion. We did a beach theme and had a great time shooting and the pictures came out great. Here you go Brittany (and Ryan)...

Mary : LOVE ALL OF THESE PICS!!

Stephanie's pregnancy shoot...

Well this is a little out of order since Stephanie already delivered her baby Skylar a few months ago. My post-production schedule can be a bit insane at times (to say the least) so sometimes jobs get done out of order. This being one of them. So here it is, I finally got to it. I met Stephanie and Gabe down at the beach in Malibu early one morning. It was a bit overcast and cool but it made for some really soft light, which was perfect for the lighting I wanted to add in. We shot all morning and came up with a ton of really cool images. We decided to go have lunch and then mix it up with a little bit of an urban feel down in Venice. The combination was a really nice mix and one of the best pregnancy shoots I've ever done.
