Jeffri and Michael's Wedding
So I'm about to date myself here a bit. Jeffri has been friends with my daughters for about the last 15-20 years. I remember her from back then but hadn't seen her in many many years. So one day I overheard my daughter's talking about the upcoming wedding (which at this point was only about a month away). It didn't sound like they had found a photographer yet so I said to pass my info along and if they were interested to give me a call. Well, they did, and it was a great match right from the start. Even though I never saw them until the wedding day, the moment I walked into the house I started remembering old faces (all grown up though). Jeffri and Michael couldn't have been nicer and from the first click of the camera until the last shot of the night it went great (except for the torrential downpour that happened that day). The ceremony was at a cool bar/club in downtown L.A. and with the weather as bad as it was I was worried about even making it across town to get there. But we all made it and the wedding went off without a hitch. Everyone partied until late into the night and we got tons of great pictures. Here's your day...

Mary and Max
So it feels like I've known Mary all my life. Hmmm, probably because I have. She's my daughter's half sister. Her and Max have been going out for about 10 years and its been true love the whole time. They met as teenagers and its one of those rare relationships that never faded away with time or maturing. Now as adults they were ready to tie the knot. The day started off with Angelina Tam getting Mary ready for her big day. I started half way through as Angelina was making Mary look fantastic. When she was finished Mary's mom helped her into her dress and then Mary hoped in my car and we were off to the gardens. Besides Siri (iphone know it all) getting us lost and the rain drowning us we made it in time. Mary always liked the Japanese culture ever since visiting Japan a few years ago. So she wanted to incorporate this theme into her wedding. She found the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden in Long Beach, CA. It has a beautiful garden which made for the perfect setting for her wedding. There is a tiny bridge where the ceremony took place with a giant coy pond in front of it. The guest were all seated around the pond in various sections. The only thing we were battling that day was the threat of a huge storm coming in. It was sunny in the morning but by the time we went to the gardens the rain had started, it wasn't looking good. Luckily during the ceremony it never came down hard and everyone managed with umbrella's. It actually stopped altogether for the second half of the wedding, which was really nice and didn't start up again until after the ceremony. It was a beautiful ceremony followed by a reception with some speeches and toasts and then it was over. Since it was over early me, Mary and Max went back to the hotel and had a little mini photo shoot to finish it off. It was a great day and everyone had tons of fun celebrating the start of Mary and Max's life together. Here's what the day looked liked (rain and all)...

Ariella and Brian
Yes, the much anticipated wedding pictures of Ariella and Brian are finally here!!! What a great day (even though the threat of rain was looming). From the beginning when I showed up and Ariella was getting her makeup done by Christin & Ashley everyone was having a blast. The champagne was flowing and the smiles were plentiful. I jumped right in and started to shoot going back and forth from Ari's room to Brian's room a few doors down. Brian was hanging with his brother slowly getting ready when I popped over for a few shots. They were having a good time cracking each other up. I finished up with Brian and then went back to Ari to finish up. Ari got into her wedding dress and then we were off to Union Station here in downtown Los Angeles where the ceremony and reception were to take place. Union Station is a landmark here in L.A. it has a rich history and is architecturally beautiful (perfect for such a classy couple). The wedding was outdoors at night under the Chuppah. It was a beautiful ceremony (and thankfully the rain didn't start until the very end) which was followed by a night of partying and celebration. Brent Rosen did a fantastic job of deejay for the night and got everybody in the mood for tons of dancing and partying. Everything went great, the entire day went perfectly. Thanks in part to Liz Coopersmith who did a great job planning the day. I had a great time with both of you, you guys have been so easy to work with from beginning to end. Thank you both for everything and here's your day...

Stephanie and Will's wedding!!!
I had such a great time at Stephanie and Will's wedding I almost felt like one of the guests!!! You guys are one of the nicest couples I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. It was truly a great day from start to finish. The day started off with Erik Miguel (who did a great job second shooting for me) and I heading down to San Clemente from L.A. We met with Will and Erik stayed to shoot the guys getting ready and I headed over to Stephanie's parents house, where the girls were getting their hair and makeup done by Tessa Stull. Stephanie was all smiles and very excited looking forward to the big day. Once Tessa finished up and Stephanie was looking awesome we all headed over to the Casino San Clemente where the ceremony and reception were going to take place. The Casino has a beautiful area outside for ceremonies and lots of room inside to party the night away, it was a great place photographically also as it had lots of cool lighting and architecture to work with. Once on site Brandi of High Society Event Planning took over and ran a great event. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was DJ'd by DJ Nachey who if anyone needs a great DJ absolutely rocked the music all night. It was a great event and went perfectly from start to finish, you guys are the best and here's some of your pictures!!!
